Rosalie Richards lives in Warakurna and is related to an incredibly talented group of women. She is the granddaughter of Carol Maayatja Golding and her mother, Winifred Richards is also a very well known painter as are her cousins and aunts. This is a story about where I was born. My mother was walking all the way from Laverton to Warburton. She got sick and I was born in the middle of the desert near a rockhole. My family had to stop there until she got well. There are salt lakes in this country.
